BSc Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate Course focused on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency, and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery.

Applicants who wish to enroll in a B.Sc. program should complete the following:

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

To apply for the WBJEE JENPAS(UG) Exam in that academic year, the candidate must be able to read, write, and speak in Bengali or Nepali.

The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the District of West Bengal.

Minimum education:

10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

Student shall be medically fit.

Students appearing in the 10+2 examination in Science conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.

B.Sc Career Scope

Upon completion of B.Sc. a person can find employment opportunities in various educational institutes, and private, and government hospitals.

After gaining substantial experience a person can run his/her laboratory consultancy services, and health care centers.

There is also an option of higher studies, upon completion of a B.Sc a person can go for a master's degree and then further studies.

Upon completion of the course, a person also can make a career in product development, marketing, sales, quality assurance, environmental health, and insurance.

Major employment areas are Biotechnology Research Laboratory, Blood Donor Centers, Colleges & Universities, Hospitals, Military Services, etc.
