GNM with PB-B.Sc Nursing
This is a Diploma & undergraduate Course focused on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency, and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery.
Applicants who wish to enroll in a GNM with PB-B.Sc program should complete the following:
The eligibility criteria for admission to the West Bengal GNM Nursing Training course on the Academic Year Entrance examination depends upon two factors: Educational Qualification and the other is Age limit.
The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the District of West Bengal.
To apply for the WBJEE GNM Nursing Training Exam(ANM-GNM) in that academic year, the candidate must be able to read, write, and speak in Bengali or Nepali.
10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
Student shall be medically fit.
GNM with PB-B.Sc Career Scope:
Upon completion of PB-B.Sc a person can find employment opportunities in various educational institutes, and private, and government hospitals.
After gaining substantial experience a person can run his/her own laboratory consultancy services, and health care centers.
There is also an option of higher studies, upon completion of PB-B.Sc a person can go for a master's degree and then further studies.
Upon completion of the course, a person also can make a career in product development, marketing, sales, quality assurance, environmental health, and insurance.
